A traditional two-storey house moved from Niigata and restored in Kamakura–Ofuna. Lacquer, plasterwork and antique fittings meet a stone roof and a Spanish-tiled bathroom.
新潟から移築した築100年の古民家。漆・漆喰・アンティークの建具に、鉄平石の屋根やスペインタイルの浴室を組み合わせました。
Gather downstairs
A large sofa by the fireplace, a dining table and a desk. Antique furniture, lacquer and plasterwork give the living space its distinctive character.
暖炉の前の大型ソファー、ダイニングテーブル、執務机。アンティーク家具と漆・漆喰に包まれた、古民家の居間です。
Life downstairs. Rest upstairs.
Enter through a storehouse door into an earthen-floor entrance. Living, dining, kitchen and bathroom are downstairs; two bedrooms are upstairs.
蔵戸と朱を混ぜた土間の玄関。1階は居間・キッチン・浴室、2階は寝室2室です。室内階段があり、安全上の理由からお子様はご宿泊いただけません。
Sleep beneath the old beams
Three beds in the main bedroom, and two futon sets in the adjoining tatami room. The high ceiling and old timber preserve the character of the original house.
高い天井と古材のある主寝室にベッド3台。手前の和室には布団2組をご用意しています。一棟の定員は5名です。
A Spanish-tiled retreat
A fully tiled, independent bathroom with a full-size bathtub and bath reheating. Toilets are separate from the bath, with one on each floor.
スペインタイルで仕上げた独立型バスルーム。フルサイズのバスタブは追い焚き可能です。トイレは浴室と別で、1階・2階に各1箇所あります。

MIKURA BESSHO is just across the road from Guesthouse Dohei’s main building, tucked down a small lane.

Before you book
The house has interior stairs. For safety reasons, children are not accommodated at MIKURA BESSHO. Our usual minimum age is 26; adults under 26 should contact us before booking.
三蔵別所は室内階段があり、安全上の理由からお子様のご宿泊はお受けしておりません。原則26歳以上。26歳未満の成人の方は、ご予約前にご相談ください。
